‘Ni Ni Ya Mo Mo is the nursery rhyme I grew up with. It's also the first thing I think of in connection with my Arab heritage. Here I'm not recounting Morocco, I'm not depicting its culture, but I'm finally grasping the traces it has left me.’ Guilhem Chatir

Drawing on the memories of those who give it shape, Ni Ni Ya Mo Mo immerses us in the places where individualities merge into a collective. Stadiums, celebrations, markets, demonstrations - Guilhem Chatir draws his inspiration from these popular gathering places, where human beings are capable of creating resistance and a shared dream. In a circular set-up, he deploys a physical material in perpetual transformation: dances inspired by this complex wealth of origins and by images that are revealed, then disappear, evoke, then consume themselves ad infinitum.
