Dos explores the need for connection and makes the body the territory of relationships. The stage becomes an observation ring where the two artists playfully assemble their dissonant bodies in an array of off-beat combinations: at times they touch and caress each other with fraternal naivety. They do not speak, but hum an inarticulate language.
In DOS, Delgado Fuchs sets aside its usual pairing for a new duo of Marco Delgado, dancer, and Valentin Pythoud, acrobatic bearer/catcher, intertwined in an act that is both tenderly shaky and sensual, against a backdrop of Anatolian rock! Combining circus, dance and performance, this creative show deploys a vision of otherness that is at once vulnerable, elegant and erotic.
