A Walk in the Burren
Erin Besch
Pas (si) fragile
The live-streamed performance in County Clare, Ireland, centers around an ancient Irish tradition: walking barefoot. This symbolic act encapsulates a metaphorical journey of self-discovery and reconnection with heritage. Walking barefoot through the Burren, an ancient and rugged limestone landscape, this performance embodies an exploration of identity and place, transcending borders to forge connections across cultures and to foster unity and shared experience, [la1] despite physical separation.
Erin Besch (she, her) is a multidisciplinary artist, explores identity and sense of place informed by a deep affinity to Irish landscape and heritage. She holds bachelor's degrees in both Psychology and Visual Art (Union College), a master [la2] in Art Education (University of Florida) and is engaged in a Master of Fine Art degree in Studio Art (Burren College of Art).
