L'ARBRE QUI CACHAIT LA FORÊT

Attached is a photo-graphic novel (in motion), a canoe trip on a cement river. Djiké: "Recognition, loyalty, dignity at the same time, it can also mean: love, brotherhood" and what would be impossible to translate. For a long time now, landscape gardeners have been doing more than just planting flowers at crossroads. As a true architect of green spaces, they design towns and countryside. Calling on their creativity without ever losing touch with reality, they strive to improve our living environment*. I like to think of myself as a landscape gardener, and my aim is to use uncharted dance-film-narrative forms to create landscapes in which to live.
